mEPS MK5

The mEPS MK5 is equipment wise similar to the mEPS MK4 however structurally it has several key advancements. The use of lighter and stronger alloys allow for the mEPS MK5 to be sustainably lighter than the mEPS MK4 weighing only 140kg while having a lift capacity of 17 ton. The mEPS MK5 was also less bulky than the mEPS MK4 making it easier to move around in. The mEPS MK5 featured better sensors and a fully augmented transparency mode where the MK5 could move in a way that made it feel substantially lighter while also increasing range of motion making using the MK5 feel more natural and comfortable for long sessions. The mEPS MK5 also made integrated life support systems standard in all units.

The mEPS MK5 was the first in the mEPS line of Active PPE Exosuits to feature the Emergency Response variant. In exchange for raw lifting power at only 11 ton it was outfitted with additional equipment storage space and integration for advanced rescue and fire fighting tools. This rendered the last remaining HEPS that were in service in emergency roles obsolete.

The mEPS MK5 also featured an updated MAC variant this time with 15 ton lift force and a no compromises power system. The mEPS MK5-MAC was also the first mEPS suit to include the External MAC Systems Integration Connector (ESIC) allowing for further development of tools to assist MAC operatives in their missions.
