mEPS MK7-MAC

The mEPS MK7-MAC is the Active decedent of the mEPS MK6 program. Its structural body remains the same with the state of the art rigid body protective plate system. This provided protection from low calibre weapons and eliminated the risk posed by sharp objects and was resistant to crushing forces. This protected the user from what might otherwise damage soft body lining and expose the user to hazards.

Where the mEPS MK7 differs from the MK6 is in how the Point teleport initialiser and its supporting components were created. Working from the ground up the MK7 featured a fail-safe ballast system that was built to physically be unable to fail into a closed state. Additionally, extra power management systems were installed to physically cut the ballast off from power in the event of over current conditions within 0.02 seconds.

The mEPS MK7 also featured a novel internal generator system that used a high efficacy Technetium reactor to supply continuous power to the MK7-MAC allowing for a functionally infinite mission duration. The other novel device created was a “jetpack” system for the MK7 allowing MAC operatives to make full utilisation of their environments during missions.

MK7 weight: 230kg - max ground lift: 17 ton - max air lift: 40 ton recommended 80 ton maximum.

Status: As of now the mEPS MK7 are in active service with 4,000,000,000 units across all AMRaD facilities.
