mEPS MK2
The mEPS MK2 was a major improvement over the mEPS MK1 offering increased reliability and higher capacity power pack offering 8 hours at 80% load. The mEPS MK2 offered a 2.8 ton sustained lift and a 3.5 ton short duration lift. To address the main failure of the mEPS MK1 the mEPS MK2 included a soft body lining that helped to eliminate pinch point risk to the user. This lining also had the benefit of protecting the user from sharp objects as well as having mild heat-resistant properties.
However, despite these improvements the mEPS MK2 did not see use outside AMRaD facilities and remained closer to prototype and was still widely seen with scepticism because of the MK1. It still did manage to see adoption in some industrial sites within AMRaD and with its success there the mEPS MK2 helped bolster the image of the mEPS line of Active PPE exosuits.
Status: As of now the mEPS MK2 is fully deprecated and sees no use in any capacity.
